There is no ability to sustain existing uses and there can be no further development without ample, clean, fresh water supplies. Water conservation is a civilized necessity.

Water conservation is the only fair means of providing for America's future revenues, quality of life, healthy drinking water, edible fish, and rivers and lakes in which we can swim. If the legislature seizes further control of the water management districts in its reactionary attempt to undermine water quality in Florida, we will pay with higher prices for drinking water, extend septic tank pollution of our waterways, increasing nitrogen & phosphorus levels–not to mention mercury contamination. Tell Congress and the legislature that special interests need to "Keep their dirty hands off of your clean water." Water in Florida as across the nation belongs to all the people not just the moneyed and the mighty few. |
